Overview of Retrievable Packer 3 1/2"
The 3 1/2" Retrievable packer is used in 3 1/2" casing, which is suitable for slim hole downhole operation, such as drill stem testing operation, treating operation, and squeeze cementing operations. The 3 1/2" retrievable packer is a sort of full bore type mechanical setting packer, which consists of a J-slot mechanism, hydraulic slips, packer elements and mechanical slips. The large, heavy-duty slips in the hydraulic hold down mechanism of the retrievable packer can prevent the tool string from being pumped up the hole.
